Never enough time for what is important.

Just enough time for someone to be complacent

In a world where experience can be fabricated

Those of us with stripes must be inculcated

Next man up is just the norm

Whether or not you can actually perform

All the people we need to get the job done

Never exist, but our missions are always won

It’s not a surprise the reason for this

An NCO’s efforts always persist

In a world where we are expected to learn digitally

Counseling, development, and mentorship are key

Put down your phones and stop texting

Get your Soldiers together and start asking questions

Get to know them now, at every opportunity

The mission decides success based on your community

Realize the power you hold in your hands

Time is a resource, and it never expands

There is plenty of time, if you fight for it
