Leavenworth National Security Education Consortium of Colleges and Universities

The Leavenworth National Security Education Consortium of Colleges and Universities was formed in November 2022 “to strengthen national security education and research through collaborative efforts across six key lines of effort (focus areas).

Member institutions include Kansas State University (Manhattan, KS), Park University (Parkville, MO), the University of Kansas (Lawrence, KS), the University of Missouri – Kansas City (KC MO), the University of Saint Mary (Leavenworth, KS), Hampton University (Norfolk, VA), and the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College (Fort Leavenworth, KS).

The Consortium seeks to create and sustain active, institutionally supported collaboration between faculty, departments, and programs that: (a) Enriches students’ learning; (b) Supports faculty engagement; and (c) Contributes to the body of professional knowledge in national security affairs.
