The Operational Leadership Experiences (OLE) Project is the only DOD oral history venture which collects, transcribes and displays the firsthand recollections of the soldiers, service members, government personnel and civilians who have planned, participated in, observed and supported operations in the Global War on Terrorism.

The project team has constructed a public database of oral history interviews with personnel who have participated in military operations around the world.

This valuable project and database can be utilized by CSI, Army, DoD, and civilian researchers and historians to document the Army's role throughout the Global War on Terrorism.

The searchable oral history database, part of the overall collection contained in the Ike Skelton Combined Arms Research Library is available online.
